2 New Google Smartphones by Huawei and LG Out Before End of Year
If reports are to be believed, Google may be releasing two new Nexus smartphones this year, according to reports. The two new smartphones are called Angler and Bullhead and will be manufactured by two of Google's manufacturing partners, Huawei and LG respectively.
This will be the first time that Google will launch more than one Nexus phone in a year. The company usually launches just one phone every year much to the chagrin of consumers who want to get their hands on a Nexus phone but are limited by the choices in the market.
The report is based on a reliable source of Android Police which claimed that there will indeed by two new Nexus devices released this year, by October to be exact.

Rumored specifications of the new phones show that these will be mid-sized phones. The LG Bullhead is said to have a 5.2-inch display and a battery capacity of at least 2,700 mAh. Under the hood, it will sport a Snapdragon 808 processor, which is said to be the same hexa-core chip that is being using in the LG G4, its recent flagship phone. These specifications however may still change as they are "still under review" by LG. The Bullhead may very well be the successor of the Nexus 6, or the 2015 Nexus 5.
Huawei's Angler, on the other hand, will be bigger device than the Bullhead, with a 5.7-inch display. It will reportedly have a more powerful processor, the Snapdragon 810, but like the Bullhead, may still change depending on how it will fare in the technical review before the phone is manufactured. Battery capacity may be bigger at 3,500 mAh, bigger than that of the current Nexus 6 which is at 3,220 mAh.
No price points have been set for the new phones. The Nexus 5 previously made by LG and released in 2013 was cheap, with a 16GB version selling for $349 and a 32GB version only at $399. The Nexus 6, however, was more expensive than most Nexus handsets in the market. Nexus fans hope that this year's crop of Nexus phones will come with an affordable price.
These reports of two new Nexus phones however may also suggest that Google may not launch a new Nexus tablet this year.
