2016 Chevrolet Camaro News: Danica Patrick Delivers First Auto for Texas Client

In one of the most exciting moments of a car owner's life, NASCAR driver Danica Patrick herself delivered the first 2016 Chevrolet Camaro to Alican "Turk" Boyacioglu of Lewisville, Texas.

The lucky client is America's first person to own a next-generation Camaro that has become a hot topic in car talks for the past years. Boyacioglu received his car on Saturday, the auto being a first among many sales and deliveries for the 2016 model.

Aside from the new car being the first delivered in the Find New Roads road trip campaign, the experience only got so much better because of the process with which the car was delivered. Instead of Boyacioglu visiting his local dealership to pick his car up, the famous NASCAR driver handed the keys and car over to him.

Aside from the Indy driver meeting and greeting with Turk, he was also able to have a chat with executives such as Camaro Chief Engineer Al Oppenheiser and Camaro Design Director Tom Peters.

According to Torque News, Turk said of the unexpected delivery, "This whole experience was surreal. Coming to the race and getting the VIP treatment was amazing, and I still can't believe I get to drive the first 2016 Camaro away."

Turk's new car is only one of the thousands that are starting to be delivered around the country. Car experts predict that after learning of Turk's experience with the executives and Patrick, many other potential buyers are looking up the 2016 model in their local dealerships.

The newest auto developed under GM Alpha is the 6th generation of Camaro and is smaller than the previous model. It also has a shorter wheelbase and is 200 pounds lighter. Another amazing change is the chassis having an independent suspension.

Two extra vents to hide the flat daylight running lamps (DRLs) have been added, which deviates from the usual vertical LED strips seen in other Camaro models, plus some new taillights and a cross section applied to the front grill.
