2016 Ford Bronco not coming to life?
While fans have been looking forward to the rumored 2016 Ford Bronco to come alive, some reports suggest that the next Bronco just may not be happening anymore.
For the past years, rumors hinted that the new Bronco is finally in the works and will most probably appear in one of the big films this year.
According to Autoomobile, the next-gen Bronco has been specifically rumored to debut in "Jurassic World." However, the movie has already been released, but no Bronco was in sight. Instead, a Mercedes-Benz compact crossover made a scene.
Some experts then deem that there is no hope for fans to see the coming of a new Bronco as the much-awaited model has not been mentioned by Ford at all for the past years.
It should be noted, though, that a concept design for the next Bronco was displayed at the New York Auto Show way back 2004, and it was that same design that led fans to speculate that Ford may be prepping for a new model.
According to the experts, if fans were to base the 2016 rumored model on the 2004 concept, then they should expect to see a combination of a jeep and an SUV — one that is fairly ideal for a trip to the safari or a visit to the home of The Lion King.
This concept was also the reason why some speculated that the next Bronco would make an appearance in the dinosaur movie. While the American car manufacturer remains mum about the model that has probably gone extinct, some experts point out that there are still 10 months for Ford to prepare.
A carmaker's timeline for releasing a reported 2016 model is slated from the second half of 2015 to the first half of 2016, and any date beyond the given period would move the model for a debut in the following year.
On the other hand, the lack of promotional news from the manufacturer is one of the biggest factors that lead the experts to think that the Ford will never give birth to the 2016 Bronco.
