'24: Legacy' Season 1 Episode 6 Spoilers: First Sleeper Cell Launches Attack on GW Bridge; Almeida to Return Soon
The first sleeper cell has been activated but will also be challenged by a young would-be terrorist's moral dilemma in the next episode of "24: Legacy."
Amira (Kathryn Prescott) and her brother, Khasan (Themo Melikidze), will be gearing up to launch the first of what could've been 15 simultaneous terrorist attacks on American soil between five to six in the afternoon. But after their father Mikail's (Ivo Nandi) surprise visit, Amira's reluctance to take part in Jadalla's (Raphael Acloque) plan will grow and could threaten their ability to accomplish their assigned mission.
Whose ideals will she ultimately choose and what will the cost of her decision be? Could the upcoming episode once again usher in another death after it previously took out former Army Ranger Grimes (Charlie Hofheimer)?
In an interview with TV Insider following the shocking death of his character, actor Hofheimer revealed that Grimes was supposed to have died in episode 2. But the fact that he stayed on for a couple of episodes more to allow his character to redeem himself and try to regain his fellow ex-Army Ranger Eric's (Corey Hawkins) trust felt like an honor to him.
"There was a good reason the target was on my back: to propel Eric Carter off on his path on his own," Hofheimer added.
The official trailer for the next episode hinted at the possibility of Amira going through with her plan, after all. A scene shows her telling someone on the phone that it's already too late to stop, before a bomb seems to have been activated on the George Washington Bridge.
But the episode will also give the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) some small success when Carter, after using a lead, zeroes in on the location of an enemy, which would in turn bring back former CTU federal agent Almeida (Carlos Bernard) to interrogate him in the subsequent hour of 6 to 7 p.m.
"24: Legacy" season 1 episodes 6 airs on Monday, March 6, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX. Episode 7, which features Almeida's return, is scheduled to air on the following Monday, March 13.
