'24: Legacy' Season 1 Episode 8 Spoilers: Carter and Andy to Pose the Biggest Threat to Terrorists' Plans
Carter (Corey Hawkins) and Andy (Dan Bucatinsky) are deep in enemy territory with nothing but a death wish in the next episode of "24: Legacy."
In order to save his wife and brother from Jadalla's (Raphael Acloque) custody, Carter convinced Andy to come with him and fix the flash drive containing the sleeper cell details. But fixing the drive would be nothing more than pretense, because heroes can sometimes be sly, too.
Carter intends to destroy the flash drive once and for all and this is what he asks Andy, the computer expert, to do. This is the only reason why Andy said yes. Carter knows Andy can do it. Andy has his doubts, but he will at least give it a shot. They are both aware that they may not make it out of there alive.

In the upcoming hour of "7:00 PM-8:00 PM," Carter and Andy's plan will come to a head. Will they be able to destroy the drive and, by some miracle, save themselves afterward? And can Andy keep up the act of being an unwilling hostage forced to fix the drive, when he is, in fact, destroying it? Or will he break under pressure and end up fixing the drive when Jadalla and his men start torturing him and Carter?
Andy's ex-partner, Tom (Bailey Chase), whom they cuffed to a pipeline in the previous episode, is the only one who can alert the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) to Carter and Andy's plan, and it seems that he will be able to let the new head, Mullins (Teddy Sears), know. The CTU will track down the two self-sacrificing agents' location, but an unexpected turn of events may test the strength of Mullins' authority over CTU.
The official trailer teases that a surgical strike will be ordered on Carter and Andy's location, giving the two of them less than three minutes to get as far away from the targeted facility as possible. Will Carter and Andy survive the terrorists only to be killed by their own people?
The episode will also put Rebecca (Miranda Otto) and her husband, John (Jimmy Smits) at odds with each other when the latter starts questioning his wife's judgment after witnessing Almeida's (Carlos Bernard) advanced interrogation techniques. Elsewhere, Isaac (Ashley Thomas), through Nicole's (Anna Diop) insistence, will decide to turn to his friends for help in saving his brother.
