$250K Lamborghini Crash: Owners Crash Car Just Hours After Buying, Now Hunted by Police (VIDEO)
A $250K Lamborghini has been crashed just hours after it was purchased, according to reports out this week.
Police were searching on Tuesday for the owner of the 2008 Lamborghini that was found smashed up along a La Jolla roadside. It had apparently been abandoned by the occupants.
According to reports the car had just been purchased hours before for a quarter of a million dollars.

San Diego police have reported that they found the 2008 Lamborghini sports car on the side of La Jolla Village Drive near La Jolla Scenic Drive North at about 11:45 p.m. local time on Monday.
Some eye-witnesses have reportedly told police that they saw the Lamborghini Murcielago speeding along the Interstate 5 road on Monday late evening. Some described seeing the $250,000 car flying off the La Jolla Village Drive exit and crashing.
A man and a woman were spotted getting out of the car after the accident, but instead of staying put until emergency services arrived they fled the scene.
Police have now confirmed that they have found paperwork in the car showing that it had only just been purchased a few hours earlier on Monday for $250,000. That paperwork is now being used by investigators to hopefully track down the suspected owners of the vehicle.
The Lamborghini Murciélago is a two-door, two-seat sports car produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 2001 and 2010. Successor to the Diablo and flagship of the automaker's lineup, the Murciélago was introduced as a coupé in 2001.
The automaker's first new design in eleven years, the car was also the brand's first new model under the ownership of German parent company Audi, which is owned by Volkswagen. It was styled by Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini's head of design from 1998 to 2005.
