NBA 2K16 Release Date Rumors: PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 Gameplay to Improve Significantly
With its release date drawing near each day, 2K Sports is working with haste on its latest edition of the basketball simulation video game franchise, NBA 2K16. Updates on the game modes, cover athletes and gameplay have already been revealed, giving the fans more reasons to watch out for its roll out.
The first thing that they'll be delighted to hear is the return of the Pro-Am game mode which 2K confirmed via Twitter and even released a teaser for the game mode, reports Australian Network News. This new mode will allow players to have instant matchmaking.
It will also let them build their own teams, have their own logo, customize the arena like changing floor patterns as well as line colors of bounds, key, center circle, half court and perimter, and create their own uniform by selecting the color, number size, mesh patters, collar types and other more. There will also be daily, monthly and overall leaderboards, according to The Bit Bag.
2K has also released some screenshots for its three new cover athletes consisting of James Harden, Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis. They have garnered lots of praises for their very detailed image like the massive eyebrow of Davis, the beard of Harden and the signature Under Armour sneakers and ankle braces of Curry.
2K also perfected Curry's free throw routine and even his mouth guard chewing habit. It has also been revealed that Atlanta Hawks Dennis Schroder will grace the game cover in Germany while French player Tony Parker from the San Antonio Spurs will be on the cover in France, reports News Everyday.
The official website of the Cleveland Cavaliers also confirmed that they will be having its own anthem included in the official "NBA 2K16" playlist. The "Cavs Version" of Machine Gun Kelly's "Till I Die" will be part of DJ Mustard's game playlist.
NBA 2K16 will be available on Sept. 29 for the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
