3 Times Planned Parenthood, Abortion Groups, Promoted Themselves After National Crises
1. 9/11 'United We Plan' T-Shirts
As the nation marked the 16th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack Monday, Omaze, a Culver City, California-based company that sells "exclusive merchandise" in support of "nonprofits around the world," had a campaign underway to sell T-shirts that read "United We Plan."
The phrase is a play off of "United We Stand," a phrase seen everywhere in the aftermath of 9/11. Sales of the "United We Plan" shirts benefit Planned Parenthood which is listed as one of the "favorite causes" of Omaze.
Television host and comedienne Chelsea Handler tweeted a photo of herself wearing one such shirt, and Omaze posted photos on Twitter of actress Uzo Aduba and model Karlie Kloss also promoting the shirts in support of the abortion giant.
Each shirt costs $25.
Planned Parenthood most recently published annual report stating that the group performed 328,348 abortions and received $554.6 million in government grant money and reimbursements for fiscal year 2015–2016.
