3-Y-O Says She Saw Jesus After Near Drowning in Family Pool

A Tennessee three-year-old claims to have seen Jesus after recently suffering a near-death drowning experience in her family's pool.

Ella Kimbro of Gibson County, Tennessee was riding bikes with her siblings in front of her parents' house recently when she noticed that the family cat had jumped into the pool in front of their home. In an attempt to save the cat, Ella got near the edge of the pool and fell in.

When the girl's mother, Christy, looked outside to check on her children, she did not see Ella on her bike. After running outside with her husband, Johnny, the couple was shocked to find their three-year-old daughter lying unconscious and face up in the pool.

"What I do remember is standing over my daughter and I reached down to feel for a pulse, couldn't find a pulse," Johnny told the local Shoal Insider. The girl's eyes were reportedly dilated and her skin had turned a pale blue. Frantic, Johnny began delivering CPR to his daughter, and after a few minutes she woke up.

"When I began CPR, it seemed liked forever but in reality it was four or five minutes. She began to respond, I raised her eyelids again and her pupils were starting to restrict back and I knew we were getting somewhere," Jonny added to the State Gazette.

Ella was then airlifted to the nearby LeBonheur Children's Hospital where she stayed for a week. When she recovered, she told her parents of how she saw a man with a beard and a light coming toward her before she was pulled out of the pool by her father. When her aunt showed her a picture of Jesus on the phone, Ella confirmed that that was the man she saw while she was drowning.

"She said she drowned. She saw a bright light and a man walking to her with long hair. My sister showed her a picture on her phone and asked who it was [...] it was a pic of Jesus. Ella said that was the man that saved her and she's never heard a bright light story before," Christy told the Shoal Insider.

"She's a miracle and we're so thankful to God," Christy continued. "We've had so many people who recognized her from our Facebook page. So many people have prayed and are still praying and we just can't thank them enough."
