3DS News: Get Free Download Code for Super Mario 3D Land After Registering Two Items in Club Nintendo

Nintendo U.K. is giving out free downloads of Super Mario 3D Land for registering a 3DS.

According to Polygon, if U.K. gamers register their 3DS or 3DS XL, and one of 15 possible eligible games between the dates of Nov. 27 2013 and Jan. 13 2014 with Club Nintendo, they will receive this free download.

Other countries in on the promotion are Ireland, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, Russia, Australia, and South Africa.

In addition to a handheld console, one of the following games must be registered as well: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., Animal Crossing: New Leaf, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (launching November 22nd), Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 2, LEGO CITY® Undercover: The Chase Begins, Sonic Lost World (Nintendo 3DS version), Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Nintendo 3DS version), Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Bravely Default (launching December 6th), New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario Kart 7, and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.

Club Nintendo allows the user who registers the two items to log in after 24 hours to get the free download code. The last date to download is Feb. 13 2014.

In other 3DS news, a yet to be released 3DS XL bundle picture was leaked by a Walmart employee who snapped a picture of the handheld in his store's stockroom.

The 3DS XL is Mario and Luigi Dream Team-themed after the forthcoming game of the same name to arrive on December 2. The bundle will have the game pre-installed onto it. According to the photo, the handheld in silver colored and features a design of the duo in the bottom left corner.

There is no word of how much the bundle will cost.
