4 times the Lord was praised at Super Bowl LVI: ‘God is just so good’

The players were not the only ones to glorify God during Super Bowl LVI.
The NFL selected gospel recording duo Mary Mary to open the show with a powerful rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
The hymn, known as the “Black National Anthem,” according to the NAACP, was written from the perspective of African Americans by James Weldon Johnson. The lyrics feature imagery inspired by the biblical exodus from slavery to the freedom of the “promised land.”
“God is so good!” the sisters, Tina and Erica Campbell, testified on Instagram. “We’re just thankful for this incredible experience.”
