47th Annual Grammy Award Nominations Announced
Fred Hammond and Ben Harper Top Gospel Nominations
The Recording Academy has announced nominations for the 47th Annual GRAMMY Awards to be held in Los Angeles on 13 February 2005. Topping the gospel nominations are Fred Hammond plus Ben Harper & The Blind Boys Of Alabama. Each earned two nominations in these categories. Harper also garnered a nomination in the Best Pop Instrumental Performance for 11th Commandment.

The 47th Grammys Show will be held in the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcasted on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), marking the 32nd consecutive year the show will air on CBS. Last year's broadcast boasted an increased viewing audience totaling more than 25 million nationwide.
