Said dictators are ‘rooting for Trump'

During her remarks about foreign policy, Harris promised that she won't "cozy up to tyrants and dictators like Kim Jong-un, who are rooting for Trump."

"They know he is easy to manipulate with flattery and favors. They know Trump won't hold autocrats accountable because he wants to be an autocrat himself," she said. 

Harris previously raised concerns about what she called Trump's "explicit intent to jail journalists, political opponents and anyone he sees as the enemy" and "his explicit intent to deploy our active duty military against our own citizens."

She condemned the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Trump v. United States, which determined that presidents have broad immunity from prosecution for acts they commit while in office.

Harris urged the audience to "Just imagine Donald Trump with no guardrails and how he would use the immense powers of the presidency."
