New Jersey drones: 'The government knows'
Trump claimed the federal government is aware of the reason behind the mysterious drone sightings that have lately proliferated in New Jersey and other parts of the northeastern United States.
President-elect Trump on drones: "The government knows what is happening. Look, our military knows where they took off from. If it's a garage they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. For some reason they don't want to comment." pic.twitter.com/JdITHAv4KJ

"The government knows what is happening. Look, our military knows where they took off from; if it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went," Trump said.
Trump went on to allege that the government is intentionally keeping the truth about the drones from the public but maintained that he does not believe they are from a foreign adversary.
"And for some reason, they don’t want to comment. I think they’d be better off saying what it is," he continued. "Our military knows, and our president knows, and for some reason they want to keep people in suspense."
"If it was the enemy, they’d blast it out," he added. "Even if they were late, they’d blast it. Something strange is going on. For some reason, they don’t want to tell the people."
Trump observed that the drones had been sighted over his private golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and that he would be canceling his trip there.
When asked whether he had received an intelligence briefing on the drones, Trump declined to comment.
