50 Cent Wins $1 Million in Super Bowl Bet, Baby's $5 Million Bet A Lie
50 Cent's Super Bowl bets paid off in big dividends, winning the Queens native $1 million, while Baby's $5 million bet is called into question.
Rapper and entrepreneur, 50 Cent bet $1 million on the New York Giants to win Super Bowl 46, which paid off. The bet came days after he won $500,000 from the Giants getting into the Super Bowl. Now 50 Cent is $1.5 million richer and wonders about another large Super Bowl bet.

"I won a bet on the 49ers game, so I said that I would bet it back," 50 Cent in a Yahoo interview.
In the interview with Yahoo, 50 Cent said that the Super Bowl bet would've just risked what he won in the NFC Championship. He also addressed the outlandish $5 million bet that fellow big-spender and rap personality, Baby "Birdman" Williams, made on the New England Patriots.
"I don't think Birdman was actually risking 5 million, however, I do think he is passionate about the Patriots," 50 Cent told Yahoo.
Baby initially bet the $5 million after 50 Cent bet $1 million. One rapper has to outdo the other.
Apparently, no one stepped up to match Baby's bet and he just so happened to save $5 million in the Patriots' loss. Not even 50 Cent was willing to make a bet of that magnitude, nor was any of his friends.
According to his twitter account, Baby said he was serious about the bet, but $1 million wasn't big enough for him.
"Nobody would touch my 5 million not even 1 million. Bet. Scared money don't make no money," Baby tweeted after the Patriots lost. "Now I'm gone spend some $$$$$. YMCB."
Baby is no stranger to big bets after claiming he won a few million from a bet on the 2011 Super Bowl, according to Rapbasement.com. He also lost millions in the NBA Finals betting on the Miami Heat.
However, Baby's bet was challenged by BetOnline.com, dispelling his tale that everyone was too scared to match his bet. According to rapbasement.com, the gambling site accepted his wager and even offered him a point spread.
"If Birdman is prepared to put his money where his mouth is, we are prepared to accept his $5 million wager on either the point spread or the money line of Super Bowl XLVI," said Dave Mason, Bet Online's brand manager.
"Birdman simply needs to go to Bet Online and register online...once Birdman's bet is in, we will release a snapshot of the bet in his BetOnline.com account, and Birdman will finally have proof that he is the sports better who he boasts of being."
Baby never responded to the statement made by BetOnline and saved himself $5 million. Perhaps the bet was just "big-talk" and the man with a five star tattoo on the top of his head isn't as ridiculous as he seems.
