6 Christian leaders react to President Trump’s State of the Union speech

Russell Moore, head of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, commended the president for mentioning the pro-life cause in his speech.
In a statement posted by the ERLC on Twitter Tuesday night, Moore said that he was “thankful to President Trump for raising the issue of the sanctity of human life at the State of the Union.”

“He is right that the abortion culture is an injustice that should be ended,” Moore said. “I look forward to working with the President and other elected officials toward that end in terms of policy.”
