7 Bible Verses Showing How Seeking God Brings More Value to Our Lives Than Anything Else
No one in this world is perfect. We all make mistakes and even sometimes repeat them constantly. We have the tendency to seek after money, fame, people, entertainment, materialism, and lust. But the problem is, all of that eventually leads to emptiness.
For the time being, all these things may be wonderful, but nothing lasts forever. God puts these things in our lives to test us and hopefully we will choose the right path, even if it takes time. He loves his sinners as much as he loves his non-sinners, as long as you're intention in the long run is to follow His way. Seeking after God brings more value to our lives than anything else on this earth.
Below are 7 Bible verses about seeking God:
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).
"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul" (Deuteronomy 4:29).
"But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, 'May the Lord, who is good, pardon everyone who sets their heart on seeking God—the Lord, the God of their ancestors—even if they are not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary' And the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people" (2 Chronicles 30:18-20).
"The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God" (Psalm 14:2).
"You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water" (Psalm 63:1).
"Whenever God slew them, they would seek him; they eagerly turned to him again" (Psalm 78:34).
