It seems 30-year-old Christon Gray's music was everywhere last year from ESPN to HBO, FOX and Honda commercials. Instead of trying to chart his own career path, the Christian rapper who managed to make waves outside of the church community says he is ready to put down the proverbial pen to let God take control of writing his story.
"2016. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times," gospel music veteran Kirk Franklin's protégé wrote on Instagram. "But I'm going to stop trying to write the rest of the story God already wrote. It's time to watch my own movie."
