Veteran journalist Diane Francis predicted that Harris was going to win the election by 5 percentage points in an interview with Times Radio posted to YouTube on Monday, citing the support she reportedly had with various voter groups.

“She will win, because there are more women than men that vote,” Francis said. “And a greater proportion of women are Democrats than Republican. And the other issue is, of course, the gays.”

“The Trump candidacy has really doubled down on putting out their really, really nasty awful ads about trans people, about gays, spewing lies about, you know, ‘they want to take over the world, take their children from us.’”

Francis added that, “between women and the gays,” she believed “the Democrats have the advantage,” saying that “polls are never reliable” when considering the tight margin between the two candidates.
