7 people who wrongly predicted Kamala Harris victory
Adriana E. Ramírez
Adriana E. Ramírez, an author and editor of InReview, wrote a column for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette published last week that predicted a Harris victory.
“Harris will win the presidential election, because we are not a country of whiners, bullies and haters, but a country of grandeur, poise and virtue. And because most Americans prefer stability and calm to retribution and chaos,” she wrote.
“But most importantly, Harris will win the election because young voters, women and entrepreneurs know that she has the best policies to ensure a bright future for us all.”
Ramírez believed that Harris had the better plans regarding combatting manmade climate change, advancing economic opportunity and immigration reform, and being “instrumental in trying to secure reproductive rights [abortion] for all American women through the legislature.”
“Harris does not have a felony record. She has not been found liable for sexual harassment. She has served her country as an elected official without major controversy for decades. She’s not perfect. Much can be said against her,” she added.
“But she promises to make the world a better place. She isn’t promising revenge, instead she’s promising everyone a seat at the table, to better bring our country together once more. No other candidate comes close — and that’s why she will win.”
