7 Shocking Facts Americans Learned About Planned Parenthood in 2017
1. Planned Parenthood staffer admits name is 'deceptive,' we don't offer pre-natal care
One of the things Planned Parenthood's president, Cecile Richards, and elected Democrats have boasted about is the group's "pre-natal care" services. But other than a couple packs of pre-natal vitamins at very few locations, the pre-natal care services are simply not offered, contrary to their claims.
Pro-life investigative group Live Action has been at the forefront of exposing the abortion giant and its practices and when they visited 97 Planned Parenthood affiliates across the nation, only five responded that they offered pre-natal care of any kind, and even then they were giving them the benefit of the doubt.
When a Live Action investigator went to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Boise, Idaho, seeking prenatal care, a clinic worker admitted that the business' name is "deceptive," adding "if you are looking to terminate [your baby] we can do that."
Other Live Action investigators were told: "Planned Parenthood offers abortions, so they don't offer prenatal care," and "No, see, we don't see pregnant women as a way of giving prenatal care, we see pregnant women, um, you know, if they are considering other options."
