7 Shocking Facts Americans Learned About Planned Parenthood in 2017
2. Planned Parenthood worker admits 'it's a baby,' sobs in distress
Central to abortion rights messaging is that the unborn child is not really a baby, but a "fetus," or "tissue," or "product of conception." But the proverbial curtain is being pulled back not only by sonogram technology but by live accounts of what it is like inside an abortion clinic.
In July, Line of Fire Host Michael Brown, who holds a doctorate in Near Eastern languages, got a call from a woman who worked at Planned Parenthood in an administrative job for four months. The woman said she personally opposed abortion but took the job because it was well paying and she was a single mom. But she was feeling uneasy about being employed there.
Brown urged her to quit that job immediately, and subsequently asked her for more details about working in the clinic. She recounted a fellow clinic worker telling her, through tears:
"But there is a room in the back that is called a POC room — Products of Conception. It's where things are processed. They refer to it as either tissue or fetus but I saw it for the first time. It's a baby. It's not tissue.
"It's really bad. It is. It's a baby: there's legs, there's arms and there is eyes. It's a baby."
