15 lesser-known candidates running for president in 2024
5. Ryan Binkley
Update: Ryan Binkley took to X on Feb. 27 to announce that he was suspending his campaign and endorsing Trump.
Ryan Binkley, who describes himself as a “husband, father, pastor, entrepreneur [and] business leader,” is seeking the Republican nomination for president. He hopes to use “his energy and vision to help America get back on The Way To Freedom by restoring our nation’s faith in God, family, and each other.”
Binkley serves as president and CEO of the Richardson, Texas-based Generational Group. He strives to make his workplace “a culture that respects one another and one that honors God in all that we do.” In addition to starting Generational Group, Binkley founded Create Church, a “multiethnic, multigenerational church” in Richardson.
Binkley identifies “promoting a culture of life” as one of his priorities should he win the presidential election. While declaring himself “proudly pro-life” and expressing gratitude that the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide was overturned, Binkley insists that “when we talk about being pro-life, the children in foster care are often left out of the conversation.”
“There are over 200,000 American children stuck in the foster care system,” he added. “Many of them will never have a permanent home. It’s time to create a culture of adoption in this country that gives every American child a chance at a stable, loving family. It’s time to build a culture of life and adoption in this country so every American child can experience the love and comfort of family.”
