A/G Prayer Week Begins Next Week
The annual Assemblies of God National Week of Prayer is coming up next week, January 5-11, 2004. The theme, “Help from the Lord” features a special emphasis on evangelism and will be support with a “virtual” online prayer meeting.
Each day during the week of prayer, the A/G National Prayer Center will post seven chapters of the “Help from the Lord” prayer guides on the website, prayer.ag.org. The topics, which will be supported with quotes from the prayer guide and Bible verses, are entitled: Pray in Secret, Pray for Your Family, Pray for Your Local Church, Pray for Your Community, Pray for Our Fellowship, Pray for Our Nation and Pray for Our Lost World.
The website also provides banners, logos and graphics to download for the event, as well as a streaming video of General Superintendent Thomas Trask and Commissioner of Evangelism Randy Hurst summarizing that day's "Help from the Lord" chapter.
