'Absentia' Season 1 Episode 4 Spoilers: Emily's Search for Her Missing Memories Continues on 'Me You Him Me'

Six years after she was declared dead in absentia, Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) special agent Emily Byrne (Stana Katic) was rescued from captivity, owing to a tip allegedly given by the then imprisoned Conrad Harlow (Richard Brake), the serial killer who was believed to have murdered her.

But when people involved with Emily's case, one way or another, start dying one by one, the amnesiac agent becomes a suspect herself on AXN's new crime-thriller series, "Absentia."

Emily's life seems to have already ended after her presumed death six years ago. Her husband, Nick Durand (Patrick Heusinger), has remarried and her only son, Flynn (Patrick McAuley), has also since warmed up to his new mother, Alice (Cara Theobold). But now that she's finally free from captivity, with little to no memory of what has happened to her in the past six years, Emily is determined to get to the bottom of things and reclaim her life.

However, her search for the truth will be further complicated by forces working out of sight to ensure that she never regains neither her life nor her memories. When she becomes the suspect in the death of a witness who has testified against her, she goes on the run, while also finding ways to resolve her case with help from Nick.

By the end of the recently released third episode, Emily found herself in the house of her former partner, Adam Radford (Ralph Ineson), who may or may not have something to do with her abduction.

What new mysteries will she unravel on the next episode titled "Me You Him Me"?

The series was created by Gaia Violo and Matt Cirulnick and is scheduled for a 10-episode first season run. The series is currently only available in selected regions via the pay television channel, AXN, and has also premiered in various countries across the world including Spain, Portugal, and Bulgaria.

News about its U.S. premiere will reportedly be announced in the coming weeks, according to Sony Pictures Television Networks.
