Actress Sean Young Arrested for Oscars Brawl

Actress Sean Young has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a security guard at an Oscars after-party.

According to reports, Young was placed under citizen's arrest by another security guard at the Governor's Ball, taken to jail and charged with battery. The Miami Herald reports that she was released around 2:00 a.m. this morning after posting $20,000 bail.

Young told TMZ she "was waiting with friends to enter the Governor's Ball when an Oscar official suggested security make a citizen's arrest. She did not say why the official made that suggestion…"

This is not the first time Young has had problems with security at the Oscars. In 2006 she was prevented from entering the Vanity Fair after-party after trying to sneak in by following Jennifer Aniston. She later told Entertainment Weekly, "It was degrading. But when you have nothing to lose, it's really not that big of a deal."

Young made her debut in 1987's "No Way Out" and continued to act in popular movies including "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "Blade Runner." Yet she has always had a confrontational manner and in 2008 admitted she had a problem with addiction and entered rehab.

After leaving rehab she performed on "Skating With the Stars," but was quickly eliminated after falling twice. During the Entertainment Weekly interview she asked, "I'm so easy to make sound bad, but what are you going to do that hasn't been done to me already?"

"I'm a comeback waiting to happen. No one deserves it more than I do. So what I would wish for me is good luck. Just a lot of good luck," she said in 2007. Right now, though, it doesn't appear that her luck is changing.

Fred Cunningham asked, "What is it about Sean Young (remember her???) and Oscars parties?" via Twitter. Another user, WittyBizGal noted, "Time to start acting like a grown up, Sean."
