Adele's Private Life in Book Unveiled With Details of Sordid Romantic Past? (VIDEO)
A new tell all book due out next month could reveal the previously unknown love story of Adele, the artist whose turbulent romantic past has helped her achieve an album worthy of six Grammy awards in one night.
"Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all," especially in Adele's case, considering her breakthrough album appeared to tell the tale of ghosts from lovers past.
At the age of 23, Adele tied with Beyonce as the only women to ever win six Grammy's in one night during the 2012 Grammy Awards. With an album titled "19," the singer took off at that same age in Britain when her record entered as number one in the British charts in 2008 and became certified gold in America in 2009.
At the time, the British artist was also still with her former boyfriend. The singer even canceled tour dates to spend time with the man who she claimed she had built an infatuation with.
"I was drinking far too much and that was kind of the basis of my relationship with this boy," the singer told Nylon magazine during an interview in 2009. "I couldn't bear to be without him, so I was like, 'Well, OK, I'll just cancel my stuff then... I can't believe I did that... It seems so ungrateful".
"19" won Adele two Grammy's in 2009, a seeming success until her second album debuted in 2011. Titled "21" also after the singer's age at the time, the second album featured far more gut wrenching tunes about a seeming lost love. It sold over 3.4 million copies in the U.K., more than any other female artist, and became the biggest-selling album of the 21st century according to Music Week.
In America, the album earned Adele the title of Billboards' best artist of the year and she became the first female to achieve three hits in the charts at the same time.
With such a record peaking interest into the singer's romantic past, biographer Marc Shapiro has promised to release a book of the singer's life, due out next month.
"I tend to tell my stories without overt sensationalism," said Shapiro, who has also written a book on Justin Bieber, according to Mail Online.
The book will reportedly give details on the singer's childhood, growing us as the daughter of a single mother, and her love life. Other reports have stated that the details are "shocking."
