After Failed iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Tool, Pangu Reportedly Coming Up With Polished Yalu App
Recent reports suggest that while Luca Todesco's Yalu app is incompatible with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the notorious hacker is currently working with Chinese group of hackers known as Pangu in creating the iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool, which is more functional than the previous jailbreak.
According to reports, the Italian hacker is raising the white flag when it comes to the security features of the Apple iOS, saying that it cannot be jailbroken. However, he is reportedly working with the members of the Pangu hacker collective in coming up with a better iOS 10 jailbreak tool that will be stable enough to find its way to Apple devices. To address the impending threat, Apple has set in place new security features for the operating system of its mobile devices.
The migration of Apple to its new file system, APFS, will reportedly impose challenges to the group of hackers if they want to get to the files from both the iOS and IPA Application Archive. This will also make it impossible for them to downgrade iOS devices to older versions.
Since Apple is now gearing up for the rollout of iOS 10.3, Pangu will allegedly not have a chance at breaking into Apple's system. Although the hackers are currently trying to polish the Yalu app to eliminate its previous issues, Apple might have already rolled out the new iOS 10.3 by the time the enhanced jailbreak tool is up. Apple's move to roll out the new operating system could mark the end of the jailbreaking era.
As of now, the only thing left for the jailbreakers to do is to hope that the iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool of Pangu, which is envisioned to be compatible with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, will arrive ahead of Apple's iOS 10.3.
