'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 3 Episode 6 News: More on the Mysterious Creature

The upcoming episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is expected to explore the new creature introduced during Simmons' stay on another planet.

It was revealed that while Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, and the rest of a group continue to deal with the concept of Inhumans, Fitz, played by Iain De Caestecker, will be joining Simmons, played by Elizabeth
Henstridge, in figuring out details about a new creature.

The previous episode, titled "4,722 Hours," revealed that when Will, played by Dillon Casey, took Simmons into his shelter, a new creature showed itself to them. With that, S.H.I.E.L.D. is expected to look for answers on what exactly the creature brings to the world.

Meanwhile, fans have been making their own speculations about what to expect from the creature. These theories were formed by hints that Henstridge shared herself.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Henstridge shared, "We'll learn more about that. It will have an impact going forward. How we're setting it up is it manipulates you and uses what will sway you. It wanted Simmons to think that NASA had come back so that she would go toward it."

With that, it can be expected that the creature will play a big part in the episodes to come. It also has the potential to open new opportunities that the series can explore. As the story goes on, viewers can expect to learn about S.H.I.E.L.D. and the world of Marvel in a deeper perspective.

Fans will have to wait until the next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." to find out more about the creature. The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "The stakes get higher as Hunter and May continue to chase Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson suspect an ATCU is keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D."
