'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 5 Cast News: Adrianne Palicki 'Absolutely' Open for a Cameo

Adrianne Palicki is open to return as Bobbi Morse in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Fans will remember that her character and Lance Hunter played by Nick Blood were written off from the show to set up their stories in a spinoff that ABC eventually decided not to push through.

When asked by International Business Times at the New York Comic Con (NYCC) about the possibility of reprising her role in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," she had this to say:

If they ask me, I would absolutely come back.

The team behind the show has found a way to bring Hunter back to the fold in season 5 and they are expected to figure something out for Palicki when she gets the chance to come back in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

I know Nick's coming back. So what are they gonna do without Bobbi is all I'm asking. I would absolutely make a cameo. For sure.

However, if she is bound to play the role of Bobbi Morse once again, it might be a while since she currently stars in the FOX comedy "The Orville." While she has already finished filming all 13 episodes of the season, she is currently busy promoting the show.

In addition, show creator Seth McFarlane says that "The Orville" has good chances of getting renewed for a second season, which means it will take up most of Palicki's schedule in the months to come.

Despite this, however, it seems that the star is very interested in revisiting the story of Bobbi Morse in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" so it might just happen in the end.

For now, however, nothing is set in stone yet. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season 5 is set to premiere on Dec. 1. The first 20 minutes of the season opener was recently shown at NYCC. The description for it is has been provided by Screen Rant for those who are unable to attend the event.
