Alcatel OneTouch Watch Release Date, Details: Wearable Tech Compatible With iOS and Android Devices
Alcatel reveals their first ever smartwatch, the Alcatel Onetouch Watch, at the Consumers Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas, according to reports.
The company touted the Watch as "a new market segment: the affordable smart watch" and that it will be delivered "at a fraction of the cost of competitors."
Being there at the presentation, The Verge said that one of the most notable features of the Alcatel Watch is its ability to support both iOS and Android OS-run devices.

This feature sets the Watch from the budget phone maker "apart from nearly every other smartwatch on the market."
They went on to describe the things users can do in the newly-unveiled device aside from its basic time-telling function. They said that users can pick up apps that they want to be notified of like email, Facebook, Twitter, and the likes. Wearers can also enjoy its fitness-related features like calorie-intake monitor, pedometer, sleep monitor, and more others.
Android Authority also shared their first look of the wearable tech in a video. In the clip they mentioned the overall "nice build quality" of the smart timepiece. They went on to add that the non-interchangeable watch band will come in a few varieties of material like silicon and metallic.
Its 1.22 LCD inch display is rather small, according to the site. However, its 240 x 204 ppi resolution is quite enough to serve its display purposes.
Alcatel has yet to announce the prices, release date, as well as the hardware specifications of the Alcatel OneTouch Watch. However, rumors based off the company's claim indicated that the Watch could arrive at around a $100 price tag.
