Ali Landry Pregnant: Baby's Name Inspired by the Pope
Ali Landry is no stranger to pregnancy or the difficulty of choosing a baby name. The actress already has two children, a boy and a girl, but said that for her third child, she and husband Alejandro Monteverde wanted something a little different and religious.
"We wanted a worldly set of names, and that has been our challenge with this baby," Landry blogged on People.com. "We have to find a name that goes with Marcelo and Estela. I wanted a name that I really like that still had more of a European flair than a Spanish flair."
"We were in Rome for a trip," Landry wrote. "We got to meet the Pope and he blessed this baby. So part of the name might have something to do with our new Pope. The other part of the name we came up with on our own. We're excited. My daughter doesn't love it. I love it, but she wanted other things. Sorry!"

Estela Ines is six and just graduated from kindergarten, while little brother Marcelo Alejandro is only 21 months old and described as a "wildcard." The two have been an important part of Landry's life and work. She and Monteverde have made the transition into the Christian entertainment industry, which wasn't easy but necessary for the both of them.
"In the beginning, when I took that stand of being aware of projects I wanted to be a part of and set limitations, I felt like I was swimming against the current," Landry told The Christian Post. "But I always felt strength being in that place. I knew it was what I needed to do. It's incredible that the doors have opened as they have; I never imagined doing what I do now. I know this is what I am meant to do. I am so happy and content."
Landry regularly spends time with other Hollywood moms, including fellow Christian Candace, Cameron Burke and Alison Sweeney. The three support one another and offer each other advice when needed.
