Alumni Opening new CCC Chapter

In an article encouraging students to stay involved in campus ministry on the U.S. Campus Crusade for Christ website, it was made known that ministries at two campuses in Bakersfield, California will be opened this fall by an alumnus of the Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo movement. Brian Haddon, who graduated in 1998 from Cal Poly – SLO, has been working alongside his wife at – Bakersfield College and California State University, Bakersfield since last October.

Up till now, the couple has been doing prayer walks and holding weekly meetings Tuesday nights.

In the fall, they will give away 200 Freshman Survival Kits and are planning a weekly meeting at the larger campus of CSU, Bakersfield.
