Aly Raisman Clubbing Tweet Raises Eyebrows

Two time Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman learned very quickly how fast news travels on the internet when she accidently posted a message to her 375,000 Twitter followers explaining she was headed to the club with U.S. male gymnastics team.

Raisman made the inadvertent post in a direct message to all her Twitter followers the day following her gold medal win.

"Okay I have no idea were going with the guy gymnasts to some club I'll find out for you were so nervous. Omg," wrote Raisman on her Twitter feed which was removed shortly thereafter.

Understanding that she had turned 18 in May, which is the legal drinking age in England, the rest of her teammates are not. To clear up any confusion, Raisman posted a second tweet a short while later explaining the plans had changed and that they were going to turn in early.

"So excited to go to sleep early tonight :) Long but fun day!!!," Raisman stated after the fact.

The news quickly spread around the internet, but nothing of note came about. The U.S. women's gymnasts should have a little fun after their history-making performance, but setting the right example might be on the teams mind as their market value increased significantly during the games.

Endorsers such as Wheaties and Gatorade have all been rumored to be interested in the girls, especially Gabby Douglas, who became the first African-American gymnast to win an all-around gold.

The U.S. women leave London with the fewest medals at an Olympics since 2000 with five medals. The teams three gold's for the, team, all-around and floor exercise, are the most ever at an Olympics.

The gymnasts also won their first team title since the U.S. team won the gold at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. They also won a third straight all-around gold medal.
