Amanda Bynes Twitter Feud With Cher Ends in Apology
Cher has apologized to Amanda Bynes for an insulting tweet, even though Bynes insulted Cher first.
Cher was just one of many celebrities who Amanda Bynes insulted via Twitter recently. Bynes called the singer "ugly and a flop" through Twitter. Originally, Cher did not respond. But when a fan asked Cher for a response, she insulted Bynes right back.
"@skyfieri @AmandaBynes .@ Who's that ? Wait .. Is this another WTF IS MDMA'" Cher tweeted yesterday just after midnight in response to a fan's tweet asking for a reaction to Bynes' aggressive insults.
However, Cher took back the insult just a few hours later.
The 27-year-old Bynes posted a tweet which read, "'This is my twitter. I say whatever I want. Thanks!" at 6am yesterday morning.
Cher commented on this Bynes' tweet with an apology for her early mean-spirited tweet.
"You got That One Right! Sorry about shade, Sweet-Heart, it was unintentional…Promise," the 67-year-old star tweeted to Bynes.
It is one of the only compassionate responses to ex-nickelodeon star Bynes' recent spree of tweets insulting celebrities and calling them ugly.
"I only like @Drake because he's so ugly! His ugly cheeks at the EA conference! Fine he is not, but he knows he's ugly!" Bynes tweeted at Drake earlier this week.
Bynes also attacked Miley Cyrus, tweeting "Ur ugly" at her.
Cyrus, age 20, responded to the insult with sympathy, but only when asked what she thought by radio show hosts on Hot 99.5, The New York Daily News reports.
"I think it's all so sad, and I don't want to add any fuel to the fire," Cyrus said.
