Amanda Knox Latest News: Unconcerned with Kercher Family Plans, Going Back to University
It is not taking long for Amanda Knox to return to normal life after being released from Italian prison more than a month ago, as she already has a new boyfriend in her life and may be going to university with him.
Raffaele Sollecito, her ex-boyfriend, went on an Italian television show last week to share of his ordeal with Knox in jail, where they spent four years behind bars over the murder of British student Meredith Kercher. After a long and drown-out trial, Knox and Sollecito were finally cleared of the charges and allowed to go free.
Sollecito commented on news that the Kercher family are pledging they will not let the case rest and are setting up a fund to put Knox back on trial. He said he was praying for them to find peace, but also talked about his relationship with the 24-year-old Seattle native, which he claimed was “brutally stomped out.”
He also denied rumors that he was set for a reunion with Knox, and said any romantic connection is lost between them. Nevertheless, Sollecito wished Knox all the best.
The Daily Meal revealed over the weekend a detailed description of Knox’s possible new boyfriend back home, backing it up with photographs of the two together. Apparently, she is dating James Terrano, a classical guitarist whom she knew before her murder trial ordeal started.
Terrano’s older brother, William, was reported to have shared: “Yes, she’s dating my brother. They have known each other for years. We’ve all been friends since before Amanda went to Italy.”
The couple is reportedly living together in an apartment in Seattle’s Chinatown, and was photographed on numerous occasions holding hands, walking down the city streets, and going grocery shopping.
Knox may even be resuming her language studies and joining her boyfriend at the University of Washington in Seattle.
