Amanda Knox Sisters Horrified by Slanderous 'Whore' Graffiti in Courtroom
Amanda Knox’s sisters have expressed their despair after discovering abusive vandalism slandering Knox’s name on the tables in the Italian courtroom where the appeal is being heard.
Deanna Knox, 22, found sprawled out in graffiti the words “Amanda is a whore” on the table beneath her as she listened to the proceedings in Perugia Wednesday.
Deanna revealed that she had to put her arm over the graffiti when she saw it. However, she did not speculate who was to blame.

According to the Daily Mail, Deanna’s disclosure of the graffiti raises the question over whether court officials or police may have put it there especially after the foul language used by her prosecutors in their closing statements, where they called Knox a “she-devil” and a “witch.”
The three Knox sisters are Deanna, 22, Delany, 12, and Ashley, 15. All three carried out extensive interviews with Good Morning America to share their raw experiences of visiting their sister in prison.
Knox, 24, has been appearing in court in Perugia for the closing stages of her appeal against her 26-year jail sentence for killing British student Meredith Kercher.
Miss Kercher, 21, was found semi-naked and with her throat cut in her bedroom of the house they shared in the Italian hilltop town.
"I cherish every moment I get with her because you don't know when it could be your last," Knox's younger sister, Delaney, who had not seen her sister in two years before today's visit, told "GMA." "But I'm hoping for the best and things are going good."
Despite the heavy experiences Deanna and the other Knox sisters experienced on their visits, they remain hopeful for the trial’s outcome.
"I think we got past all of the hard stuff in the last couple of days," Deana said on "GMA." "We finally started the good days with all the defense and she was really happy that process has begun."
