Amber Tamblyn Dress a Stunning Yellow While Marrying Actor David Cross (PHOTOS)
Amber Tamblyn was a ray of sunshine at her wedding over the weekend. For her rustic celebration, the actress dressed in a bright yellow hue.
Tamblyn tied the knot to "Arrested Development" actor David Cross over the weekend in a rustic-themed celebration which took place outdoors. The setting was quintessential, with a flowing river in the back and trees tinged with red in preparation for fall. It was Tamblyn, however, who stole the show with her canary colored dress that matched the sunflowers she held as her wedding bouquet.
Tamblyn is a former star of "General Hospital," with roles in films that include "The Ring" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." She also had a recent gig for "House M.D." and appeared in an episode of "Portlandia."
Rumors of Tamblyn's relationship with Cross began in early 2008, but their relationship was not officially announced until 2009. They were engaged during August of last year. Representatives for David Cross confirmed the wedding rumors to Us Weekly on Saturday.
Filmmaker and music video director Lance Bangs shared a photo of the couple during the wedding adding the following caption: "Yo La Tengo playing Superchunk, Mission of Burma, and Pixies covers at David and Amber's wedding."
Tamblyn is also a poet with two self-published works and also blogs for the Poetry Foundation. Cross, 48, is nearly 20 years the senior of Tamblyn, 29. The couple has laughed off their age difference in past interviews.
"I was slow to make any moves because of our age difference, and also because she was a fan," Cross said in May on "Running Late With Scott Rogowsky," a live comedy talk show.
Among the couple's guests were newlyweds Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who were married not more than a few weeks ago.
