'American Horror Story' Season 5 News, Cast, Spoilers: Evan Peters Claims 'Hotel' Is the 'Scariest' Season
Despite the strong criticisms every season on FX's horror series "American Horror Story" (AHS), it seems that it hasn't deterred the attention of the fans. This season, "Hotel" entered without the veteran actress Jessica Lange, and many had assumed that the show would head to nothing. However, creator Ryan Murphy has proven that the success of the "AHS" is far beyond the skills of one actress. With a bigger than ever story line, backed up by a star-studded cast, it seems that the series will be just fine.
Evan Peters is one of the actors that has endured all four seasons of the twisted story lines and horrific scenes. However, in an interview with Details, he claims that "Hotel" is the "scariest" of them all. One of the particular scenes what Peters seemed to have been disturbed about was the conical metal dildo scene, in which he gave Max Greenfield props for his superb acting skills in that shot. He shares, "Yeah, that was pretty scary. Uh, I mean, uh, yeah. Tip of the cap to Max Greenfield for really selling that [scene]. That looked incredibly painful. It is a terrifying situation that you would never want yourself — or anybody else — to be in."
Aside for the season, he also talked about his new co-stars, specifically Lady Gaga. When asked about what surprised him most about the "Bad Romance" singer, he simply answers, "How down to earth she is." He then elaborated on this opinion, further adding, "She has immersed herself in the artistic lifestyle. And she has stayed true to herself, which is something that most people can't do — the people surrounding them don't let them do it. But she has surrounded herself with people that only accept her for who she is."
As for Matt Bomer, who first appeared last season but is now in a recurring role, Peters admits to having a "man-crush" on the "Magic Mike" actor. He only speaks praises as he claims that it was "unavoidable." He says, "You can't even look him in the eye when you are talking to him. He is too good looking. It's kind of crazy. And the guy can form a sentence that perfectly articulates his thoughts.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs every Wednesdays on FX.
