'American Horror Story' Season 6: Director Ryan Murphy Spills Casting Details at Golden Globes

"American Horror Story" has just been renewed for season 6, and director Ryan Murphy has revealed a few details for the upcoming installment when he had a little too much liquor during the Golden Globes.

Ryan Murphy is extremely proud of Lady Gaga, who bagged her first Golden Globe for her portrayal of The Countess on "American Horror Story: Hotel." After gulping down a few drinks, the FX series director began revealing a few details on season 6 including clues on returning cast members, according to E! News.

Murphy mentioned that he started telling the cast members about their roles in "American Horror Story" season 6 because he drank too much, the report relays.

"I'm going to regret it tomorrow," Murhy told E! News in an interview. "I think I said too much too soon."

In the video shared by E! News, Murphy is shown mimicking Bassett's shocked reaction when he told her about her role in the next season. However, the director has not mentioned any other names during the interview.

Aside from that, Murphy also gushed about Lady Gaga's performance in the series. He shared how happy he is for her because she has always dreamed of becoming an actor before being a music icon. He revealed that he did not let Gaga audition for the role because she was very nervous, the report details.

So far, no major details on "American Horror Story" season 6 have been leaked, but what is sure is that Murphy has offered Lady Gaga a spot on the upcoming installment of the thriller series. Emma Roberts also hinted that she will return to the show after skipping "Hotel" to focus on "Scream Queens," Screen Crush reports.
