'American Horror Story' Season 7 Spoilers: Kai Gives Oz a Mysterious Drink

The upcoming episode of "American Horror Story" season 7 will see Kai (Evan Peters) concocting a mysterious drink.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has been released. It opens with Kai surrounded by his followers. He asks them an important question: "What if I asked you to make the ultimate sacrifice for me? Would you do that?" And, of course, his followers gladly agree to it.

Ivy (Alison Pill), on the other hand, tries to convince someone that Kai is bad news. "Everything he touches dies," she tearfully points out to an unseen character, presumably Ally (Sarah Paulson). However, by the looks of it, Ally has already gone on to the deep end and has wholly joined Kai's cult. He asks her where her wife is, and Ally does not even acknowledge Ivy anymore.

Throughout the trailer, Kai is seen making a drink of unknown quality. It remains to be seen what the drink is made of and what it will do to whoever consumes it, but it is likely that it will only bring harm. Kai has a one-on-one with Oz (Cooper Dodson) and tells Ally's son that he has a secret to tell him.

Ally is then seen at the hospital asking for help. "My son's life depends on it," she says. It is unclear whether Ally is genuinely concerned about Oz or if this is all just an act.

Whatever it is that Kai made, he has his followers drink it. "When I point to you, you drink," he commands. The final scene then shows Kai giving the same drink to Oz, who reaches out for it.

It can be recalled that the previous episode, titled "Winter of Our Discontent," ended with the reveal that Ally has joined Kai's cult. However, it is possible that she is only doing all of this in order to save her son. After all, Kai cannot be trusted.

"American Horror Story: Cult" airs Tuesdays, at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
