Amy Adams Dress Oscars 2013: Wardrobe Malfunction? (PHOTO)
Amy Adams arrived on the red carpet for the 2013 Oscar Awards wearing a gray, Oscar De La Renta gown.
Adams stopped for a wardrobe adjustment just before beginning her walk down the red carpet, which some suggested may have been a wardrobe malfunction. The actress wore a gray gown that was accompanied by a long and massive train. Adams has been nominated for her supporting role in "The Master."
While stopping to talk to E! News host Ryan Seacrest, Adams admitted that she would look to inspiration for her coming role as Lois Lane in "Man of Steel."
"I think it's always important to pay attention to the people who went before you to take what works for the film you are doing but to add a modern touch," the 38-year-old told Ryan Seacrest. "Margot Kidder was my Lois Lane so I'll always think of her."
Early in the night fashion sites were pitting Adams against Chastain as "Best Dressed."
Jessica Chastain was one of the first celebrities to walk the 2013 Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, after skipping her estranged father's memorial. She was nominated as Best Actress for her role in "Zero Dark 30" and appeared on the red carpet wearing a skin toned Armani dress that was bedazzled with white, crystal like jewels.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the carpet, she admitted that picking the dress was a "tough decision."
"I love fashion. I'm a crazy addict," she told Seacrest, who was hosting for E! News. Commenting on her dress she said it was "very happy birthday president."
