Amy Adams Wins Best Actress, Thanks Daughter in Acceptance Speech (VIDEO)
Amy Adams made a surprising and sweet gesture to her daughter after accepting the Best Actress award at this year's Golden Globes.
The "American Hustle" star took the stage at Los Angeles' Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday where she delivered an impassioned thank you to her 3-year-old, Aviana.
First, Adams thanked her manager and the producer of "American Hustle," but as the Golden Globe showrunners tried to hurry the speech, the actress demanded more time for one special person.
"And most of all, you cannot play me out of talking about my daughter," Adams proudly announced to the audience as the orchestra music continued.
"My daughter Aviana who's not old enough to understand this- but I love you so much." the actress continued. "Thank you for teaching me to accept joy and let go of fear."

Meanwhile, Adams' costar Jennifer Lawrence also picked up a Golden Globe Award for her supporting role in "American Hustle," which won the Best Comedy or Musical this year.
The 71st Golden Globe Awards also saw Lawrence "photobombing" Taylor Swift on the red carpet. The 23-year-old Oscar-winning actress snuck up behind Swift during the country singer's interview with Ryan Seacrest on Sunday when a hilarious photo was snapped.
"I was going to come in and push you down the stairs," Lawrence candidly explained once she had been found out by Swift and Seacrest. "I was like, 'She'll crack up. She would really love that.'"
"People would love that," Swift replied.
Nevertheless, other big 2014 Golden Globe Award winners included Cate Blanchett, Matthew McConaughey, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jared Leto, among many others.
The night also recognized the year's top films, which included "Her," "Gravity," "12 Years A Slave," and the animated "Frozen."
