Duggar Family Latest News 2015: Amy Duggar reveals 'fun' engagement photos

Following the scandal that rocked the Duggar family recently, Amy Duggar, the niece of Michelle and Jim Duggar, has let go of the past and is looking forward to her future with fiancé Dillon King.

Exclusively on People, the former "19 Kids and Counting" star has shared photos of her muddy engagement photo shoot for the world to see.

The wedding will take place in less than a month over Labor Day weekend, and the photo shoot is part of the couple's preparations for their upcoming wedding ceremonies.

Referring to one of the photos, Duggar said, "One of our three engagement photo looks was a mud fight. It was kind of, not scandalous, but a little less what you'd expect from a Duggar."

Duggar also said the setting for the photo shoot was "disgusting" but rather fun. Set in her fiancé's 300-acre farm, which is the same place where King proposed to her, the photo shoot proved that even a Duggar can have fun. "We were in the middle of this murky water. I got sick for a minute, he got sick for a minute, but it was so worth it. It was so much fun, " she said.

Known as the rebel among the Duggars, compared to her cousins who are considered "straitlaced," Duggar says her wedding will be just like her: "out of the box."

"It is not your traditional wedding by any means," she said. "There won't be a lot of flowers; it's going to be rose-gold and candlelight and not in a church."

Despite her wedding being out of her family's tradition, Duggar said she is looking forward to her entire family attending her big day.

She also shared that her younger cousins will be playing important roles in the ceremony. Mackynzie, Jordan, Josie, Jennifer, and Johanna will be her flower girls, and according to Duggar, "They're going to be ringing bells and saying, 'The bride is coming, the bride is coming!' "

As for her wedding dress, the staff of She Said Yes Bridal Botique in Rogers, Arkansas, "recognized" her and gave the dress she picked at no cost.
