Amy Duggar wedding news: Anna steps out for the first time; Josh banned from attending cousin's wedding?
For the first time after her husband was admitted to being involved in two sexual scandals — one of molesting young girls as a teenager, and the other of cheating and pornography addiction — Anna Duggar has allowed the public to take a look at her in shabby shape.
Despite being under scrutiny for standing beside her husband's side, Anna graced the wedding of Josh's cousin, Amy Duggar, to Dillon King on Sunday. In paparazzi shots, she was seen wearing a blue shirt and khaki skirt, which some skeptics deemed to be her way of showing how broken her life has been since her husband's scandals surfaced.
Amy told People that she saw her sister in-law before the ceremony and she gave her the biggest hug ever. "That's when I got the most emotional. She told me to just have an amazing day."
Anna and Josh's 5-year-old daughter Mackynzie was one of the flower girls, along with the younger Duggar cousins, Johanna, Jordyn, Jennifer, and Josie. Jim Bob, Michelle, and the rest of the Duggar clan also came to celebrate Amy's wedding, while the disgraced Duggar was nowhere in sight.
Rumors has it that Josh was a no-show in his cousin's wedding because he was not allowed to be out in public, as part of his long-term treatment program in the faith-based rehab center he enrolled in.
According to Inquisitr, the clan attended a church service before the ceremony to listen to Pastor Jeff Crawford talk about pornography as a "secret sin." After talking about pornography's downfalls, the preacher reportedly discussed forgiveness.
Amy tied the knot with Dillon King after two months or so of their engagement. The outdoor ceremony was held at Horton Farms near Bentonville, Arkansas.
400 guests were expected to be in attendance, and despite the "positive moment" as Amy refers to her wedding, multiple outlets reported that Anna's sad disposition and Josh's absence shadowed the ''rebel Duggar's" big day.
