Andi Dorfman, 'Bachelor' Contestant, Exposes Juan Pablo's True Colors
Andi Dorfman, a contestant on "The Bachelor," just made history by dumping Juan Carlo and exposing his dismissive attitude. Many have supported the contestant and said that she did the right thing by herself and by women everywhere by putting herself first.
During a one-on-one date with Juan Pablo, Dorfman called out Juan Pablo on his attitude and habit of saying "It's okay" whenever she said something important.
"Every time I try to tell you about my feelings, you just say, 'It's okay,'" Dorfman said.
"It's okay," Juan Pablo responded.
"No! It's not okay! It's like I'm telling you how I feel and you're just …" Dofrman said while waving her hands dismissively.
"Oh, so what do you want?" Juan Pablo asked.
"When someone tells you about your feelings, you're supposed to listen and then say back what they said about their feelings," Dorfman explained.
"So I say back what you said, and then I say, 'It's okay,'" Juan Pablo repeated.
"Yes," Dorfman said, clearly aggravated.
"Oh," Juan Pablo said. "It's okay."
After spending a night in the "fantasy suite," Dorfman told cameras that she was very ready for the date to be over and to leave.
"Not once did he really ask anything about me. I'm not unsure," she said. "I know he's not the one."
Dorfman chose to make her exit early and reveal the truth about her time on the show, which numerous fans have applauded. It's the second time this season that a contestant has chosen to leave so early. Sharleen Joynt decided to leave early after realizing that Juan Pablo just wasn't what she was looking for.
Joynt's decision was a stunner, as she and Juan Pablo seemed to be getting along just fine and shared some intimate moments. But in the end, she had to be true to herself and that meant ending a possible relationship before it even started. However, she has no regrets.
"I feel like I made the right choice for me," Joynt told cameras. "I just know that he doesn't have what I'm looking for in terms of forever."
"The Bachelor" airs Monday nights on ABC.
