Android 4.1.2, JellyBean Update Available for Samsung Galaxy S3
The Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update is now available for Samsung Galaxy S3 users on T-Mobile.
The 187MB update brings multi-window support to the device. Customers began receiving notifications to upgrade their software at 3 a.m. Monday morning.
T-Mobile has not updated its support page for the Android 4.1.2, update thus far. One person who received it reported the addition of two new apps with it including Paper Artist and Group Play along with T-Mobile's new 4G logo.

The Android 4.1, JellyBean will finally roll out for the Sony Xperia S, Acro S and SL at the end of May.
The smartphones were certified to receive the software update this week. Preparing JellyBean to be released for those devices has been a bit of a process as there were several setbacks postponing the date of certification.
JellyBean will bring some exciting new features to the Xperia line such as "TalkBack" and "Gesture Mode." "TalkBack" reads what is present on the screen to the user and "Gesture Mode" allows low vision or blind users of the device to navigate using touch and swipe gestures along with speech output.
The JellyBean firmware will also improve the overall performance of these Xperia devices, making movement between home screens and switching between apps much smoother.
Android 4.3, JellyBean is expected to be released at Google I/O.
The software showed up on Android related websites earlier this month such as 9to5 Google. Android Authority also reported on sightings of Android 4.3, JellyBean last week.
A Reddit user recently informed the site that the next major build of Android has been showing up in logs and reports as Android 4.3 JWR23B. Android builds normally appear in logs with their numbers followed by their letters. Both J and B are present in the software's codename, leading the Redditor to believe that Android will at least announce one more major build of JellyBean before Key Lime Pie hits smartphones and tablets.
