Android 4.3 JellyBean to Debut at Google I/O, Not Key Lime Pie
Android 4.3, JellyBean will be the next major software build released from Google.
Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie was originally expected to debut at this year's Google I/O, however, a newer build of JellyBean seems to be the stronger candidate to be introduced this year, according to a report from AndroidCommunity.
A Reddit user recently informed the site that the next major build of Android has been showing up in logs and reports as Android 4.3 JWR23B. Android builds normally appear in logs with their numbers followed by their letters. Both J and B are present in the software's codename leading the Reddit user to believe that Android will at least announce one more major build of JellyBean before Key Lime Pie hits smartphones and tablets.

The two recent sightings of the software apparently came from a Nexus 7 and a Nexus 4 being used by Google employees, according to AndroidCommunity. The site believes that the recent Android 5.0.1, Key Lime Pie sighting on the Motorola X smartphone was faked as server logs can be manipulated to show different names and numbers.
This new Android 4.3, JellyBean software will make its official debut at Google I/O. This does not mean that fans of Android should not expect some significant changes and new features, as Google is sure to enhance user-experience significantly.
This also helps to confirm the recent rumors pointing to Google releasing a 32GB Nexus 4 LTE version as the new software was spotted on the smartphone which could potentially be this updated model.
Google will also launch a Platform Development Kit to help manufacturers update Android versions more quickly, according to the report. Google I/O is set to take place from May 15-17.
