Flashing new firmware could void the smartphone owners' warranty, so those without experience in this type of activity, users should probably wait for an official update.

Android Authority stated that it caught some glimpses of Android 4.3 running on the LG Nexus 4 recently. However, the site was not able to attain the software that was used in the images. This seems to be the first fully flashable version to leak.

The changes in the software are minimal, according to the site.

One main addition includes a redesigned camera app that is available on the Play Editions of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4. Other screenshots showing off the new software running on the device can be seen here.

Android 4.3, JellyBean should be the last version of the software before the next-generation platform is released with Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie. Google is now rumored to be rolling out the cake-flavored successor sometime in the fall so an official Android 4.3, update should be coming very soon.

The Motorola X Phone is rumored to be the first handset that will come with Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie. However, it is still unclear when the company will actually release that smartphone.
