Android 7.0 Nougat Update on Galaxy S7, S7 Edge News: Wider Rollout in Canada Begins, Several Carriers Make OS Update Available
Rogers additionally expected to make the Android 7.0 Nougat update available to subscribers on March 20
After making its way to different European countries and also to the United States, the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system update is now reportedly on its way to several Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge units based in Canada.
According to a recent report from Sam Mobile, several carriers in the country are already making the OS update available to their subscribers, and the list includes Bell, EastLink, Freedom Mobile, SaskTel, Virgin Mobile and Wind Mobile.
Subscribers of those aforementioned carriers may want to check now if the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge unit they have is already set to be updated, and if it isn't yet, they may still want to check frequently as the downloadable may just be taking a bit longer to reach them.

One more carrier, Rogers, is expected to release the Android 7.0 Nougat update a bit later also for the S7 and S7 Edge devices on March 20.
Once owners of the Samsung Galaxy devices are able to successfully download the Nougat update, they can proceed to try out some of the notable additions included.
Samsung outlined some of the new features in an earlier post on their official website.
Included in the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge Nougat update are changes for the Quick Panel and Notifications. The Quick Panel is not quite as cluttered as before once the update has been installed and Notifications have also been changed so that they can now provide support for the Direct Reply function.
The Multi Window feature has been improved as well, with users given more control over the sizes of the windows. If so desired, it is even possible to have seven different apps running simultaneously.
